I became aware of the art community in Edmonds a year and a half ago.

I was amazed to see the crowds of people that came out every month for the Art Walk to support the arts.

Since then I have been able to get to know several well known local artists that have made it to a regional and national level in part because of the opportunity and exposure given to them in Edmonds.

Now with the addition of a mural, Edmonds has taken another important step to make our city a more attractive and desirable place to live or visit.

This will no doubt provide more artistic opportunities and retail commerce in the years ahead for our beautiful city.

Way to go Edmonds!
