Volunteer Opportunities

Beach docents wanted
Edmonds Parks & Recreation is looking for people who want to spend a few hours volunteering as Beach Docents this summer at the Olympic Beach Visitor Station.

The station is open noon– 5 p.m. every weekend from Memorial Day through Labor Day.  This volunteer opportunity is perfect for weekend marine biologists, or anyone who enjoys meeting and sharing ideas with beach visitors, and who wants to help preserve Edmonds' waterfront beauty and learn about tidepool plants and animals.

Volunteering as a Beach Docent at the Olympic Beach Visitor Station is a great opportunity to make a difference in the community.

Call Sally Lider at 425-771-0227 for more information or to request a volunteer application.
