I say unto you, be one; and if ye are not one ye are not mine (D&C 38:27)
Is the Bean extended family a perfect family? If you think we are, it is only that you dont know us very well! All families have periodic challenges in establishing and maintaining love and unity within their family units. In Apostle Pauls epistle to the Ephesians he emphasized the importance of perfectingthe saints and reaching a unity of the faith (Ephesians 4:12-13).
With this unity, Paul counseled that the Saints would be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive (Ephesians 4:14).
What a wonderful promise to families as we strive to unify ourselves and our posterity.
